The entire life story of the striking morpho butterfly fits into 115 days. The life cycle includes stages of egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and finally, the adult stage of the developed butterfly. In the butterfly stage, this species only lives for one to two weeks.
"Fleeting existence" is a part of the "Tropical rainforest" subseries, within the broader collection titled "From Tundra to Tropical Rainforest." Collection also has a written addition to every painting. It's my biggest body of work so far. Paintings feature animals and their stories acros the Earths biomes.
