The splendid appearance and luxurious plumage colors are not the only things that adorn the blue-and-yellow macaw. The behavior of this tropical species is equally rich and fascinating. Blue-and-yellow macaws are social, playful, and live connected in large flocks, with rich vocalizations serving for communication. They are extremely intelligent and capable of mimicking other sounds, even human speech. They are monogamous, meaning they share their entire lives with the same partner. They traverse the sky in large flocks, within which pairs always remain close to each other.
"Exotic grace" is a part of the "Tropical rainforest" subseries, within the broader collection titled "From Tundra to Tropical Rainforest." Collection also has a written addition to every painting. It's my biggest body of work so far. Paintings feature animals and their stories acros the Earths biomes.
