Desert foxes, the smallest foxes in the world, are extremely social animals that form small, tight-knit family communities. They establish strong bonds with each other, which are crucial for their survival in the harsh desert environment. Their pale sand-colored fur allows them to blend perfectly into their surroundings. Their large ears play a role in thermoregulation, with blood vessels near the surface of the skin helping them to release excess heat from their bodies in hot desert conditions.
"Dunes aflame" is a part of the "desert" subseries, within the broader collection titled "From Tundra to Tropical Rainforest." Collection also has a written addition to every painting. It's my biggest body of work so far. Paintings feature animals and their stories acros the Earths biomes.
