Inspired by studies in biology, I set out to create a series of paintings that would honor the diversity of habitats and life on our planet.
As the series grew, I was collecting more and more written material about my fascinating subject. The idea of a book was born—one that would not only showcase the art but also provide a deeper understanding of the animals depicted.
From Tundra to Tropical Rainforests is an immersive experience that brings together art, poetry inspired by wildlife and educational texts that delve into each animal's unique behaviours and adaptations to their environment.
With this book, I hope to inspire readers of all ages and bring them closer to the beauty and diversity of the world we live in.
